Sara Paxton was born in Woodland Hills, California. At a young age she began acting in television commercials.She was cast in her first film at the age of 8 as a child at school and at the party in Der Dummschwätzer (1997). Her first major television series role was on the WB's "Greetings from Tucson" (2002). She filmed Plötzlich verliebt (2004) in fall 2003 (released July 9, 2004), was in Aquamarin - Die vernixte erste Liebe (2006) with Julia Roberts' niece, Emma Roberts. Her movie Halloweentown 4 - Das Hexencollege (2006) (TV) opened on October 20, 2006. She has also starred in television shows such as "SpongeBob Schwammkopf" (1999) and "Malcolm mittendrin" (2000).
