A native of Seattle, Washington, Zimmer also spent much of her childhood in Santa Monica and Newport Beach and decided to pursue a career in acting after she fell in love with the craft as a high school student. Once out of high school, Zimmer was accepted at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, and began appearing in local theater. She was the recipient of a "Best Actress" Dramalogue Award, for one of her first stage appearances in "Catholic School Girls."Zimmer booked her first TV guest- starring roles on the hit shows "Seinfeld" and "Ellen." Working steadily ever since, she has played series regular roles on "Good Morning, Miami" for NBC, "In Justice" and "Boston Legal," for ABC, She has been a recurring character on many shows, including most recently "The New Adventures of Old Christine" for CBS and most notably, her role as "Dana Gordon," in "Entourage" for HBO. Feature film credits include the independent films "Demoted," opposite Sean Astin and Michael Vartan and the Warner Bros. feature "Chaos Theory," starring Ryan Reynolds and Emily Mortimer.
